RETURNING TO WORK

Returning to Work?

At Actica we want to support career returners who have taken an extended break and are now looking to return to work.

How we will support you

We aim to provide an environment where you can make the most of the skills that you gained before taking time away from the office, along with the skills you have picked up since then.

We recognise that life changes can have a significant impact on our ability to juggle competing demands, both in and out of work, and will work with you to provide as much flexibility as possible in your new working arrangements.

We will provide you with the support you need to pick back up from where you left off in your career and take it further still. With a mentor on hand to offer guidance on an informal basis, the support of your team, 6 monthly reviews, senior staff easily contactable, and a commitment to invest in relevant training, we aim to provide you with a meaningful pathway back in to work.

As someone who has a background in technical consulting, cyber security, and / or architecture, you will be given the opportunity to pick up from where you left off and provide support to a wide range of high-profile UK public sector and defence organisations. Your help will enable them to benefit from and protect their ICT investments, and in doing so play a key role in nationally critical projects which make a real difference to people’s everyday lives.

Key Points

You will be given the opportunity to undertake a variety of roles throughout the project lifecycle, working across a wide-ranging set of clients and cutting-edge technologies.

Your level of experience will determine the amount of responsibility given to you, as a result you may also have the opportunity to lead assignments and be responsible for supervising direct reports.

Our position as a client-side advisor means that your role will involve significant stakeholder engagement, dealing directly with the client, including in resolving day-day issues involved in assignment delivery and developing follow-on opportunities.

Due to the nature of client side working, travel within the UK should be expected. The base office is in Guildford, but it is likely that you will spend the majority of your time working with clients at their sites and / or remotely.
